We work predominantly with small to medium size businesses to provide customized solutions to deliver on project goals in an efficient and timely manner. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond expectations to provide exceptional results not just for our clients but for the network of freelancers we have working around the world.
Working with over 250 language pairings, from Arabic to Zulu, our global team all have unique capabilities but share a common goal of helping bridge the language gap and bring the world a little closer together.

How does it work?
Get the ball rolling by reaching out to us using the details on the contact page. We will then listen to your requirements and provide a proposal outlining the cost and timeframe. If accepted we will then sign a non-disclosure agreement which entrusts that everything you send us remains private and secure. We will then get to work and provide the finished product in whichever format you prefer.

do you use ai or machine translation tools?
At Lingua Studios we have the right professional talent as well as the latest tech to ensure we can deliver accurately and efficiently on any project.
For longer technical texts we use machine translation and human post-editors to increase speed and cost-effectiveness. We also use translation memory software which allows us to provide discounts for larger pieces of text with repeated technical terminology and this translation memory will also ensure consistency across all of your content.
For less technical, more creative content we use human translators whose goal is not to translate word for word but to ensure the original message is conveyed with no loss of nuance or emotion.
what's the difference between translation, localisation, and transcreation?
Translation is the process of converting words from one language to another. Localization is the process of adapting a product or service to meet the language, cultural, and other specific requirements of a particular country or region. Transcreation is a combination of translation and localization where the content is adapted to the target culture and audience, not just translated word for word. It is a creative process where the translator takes the meaning and spirit of the source text and recreates it in the target language, making changes to idioms, tone, and cultural references as necessary. In reality it doesn’t matter what you call it. We take a fully customised approach to every single project we work on and assemble the right team to deliver great results, every time.
